Investing in Our Future
Middleton School District Bond Proposal
Addressing Overcrowding: A New Elementary School
The need for an additional elementary school in Middleton has been clear for some time. With $8 million from the School Modernization Fund and generous land and utility donations, we have a unique opportunity to build this school at a significantly reduced cost.
The new bond request is $19.9 million — a 79% reduction in total cost compared to the 2022 proposal. This translates to a tax impact of just $34 per $100,000 of taxable property value.
Strong schools strengthen our community, protect property values, and create better learning environments for our children. Vote YES to build our school!

What the Bond Will Fund
A fourth elementary school in the Middleton School District, located just north of Highway 44 between Kingsbury and Blessinger within a new neighborhood.
Voting YES to Build Our School will:
-
Alleviate Overcrowding – Our current elementary schools are over capacity, leading to larger class sizes that negatively impact student learning. A new school will create a better learning environment for all students.
-
Strengthen Our Community – Investing in education benefits everyone by fostering a well-educated workforce and a thriving local economy.
-
Build for the Future – A new elementary school ensures our district is prepared for growth and maintains Middleton’s tradition of educational excellence.

Thank you for helping us invest in our kids, our schools, and our community!
I think this community is amazing. That is what brings people here. It's not an issue with City Council or the County, but the pressure of people wanting to be a part of community where people are seen and heard and connected with neighbors. With the influx of people comes the need to provide infrastructure — including schools — in order to keep the community healthy and provide for the needs of everyone. I'm voting "YES" on the bond in order to allow for space where all that is good in our community can continue to flourish and grow.

As patrons the Middleton school district we feel it is of the utmost importance to support our students with the tools & resources to help them achieve their full potential. In short, strong public education is crucial to help foster strong communities.
This is why we will vote yes.

Principal Hullinger of Middleton Highschool has the goal to make MHS the best school in Idaho. Why not make that a community wide goal. The best SCHOOLS in Idaho. Our kids deserve that! And that starts at the elementary level. We need to show up and vote YES to the school bond and show our kids that their education matters, that they matter, that the success of our community matters.

Middleton has needed another elementary school for many years. I have seen our great teachers do as much as they possibly can to manage overcrowding. I feel our school district has done an amazing job to make this bond as low as possible. I believe it is time for our community to come together and support the need for a new elementary school.
